Blue Marlin is located in the middle of Tybee Island.  It is only 4 blocks to the beach, about .2miles.  It is close to Memorial Park which has a playground, volleyball courts, basketball courts, soccer fields, bike trail, picnic tables and grill, covered picnic areas and a screened in pavilion available to rent. The Lighthouse Inn Bed and Breakfast - In located in the Historic Neighborhood of Fort Screven on the North end of the 3 mile island.  Ft Screven is located in mid-island, close to everything by walking, biking, golf carts or car.  The Cottage was built in 1910 as officer's quarters for for Fort Screven.  The Fort was built in 1855 to provide seacoast defense.  Troops guarded Tybee Island during the. Spanish-American war, world war I and world war II.  The fort closed in 1947 and the buildings were sold to the Town of Tybee.
